Obviously the big problem is the previewer still uses the old skin layout. For me a lot of the new editors won't run on my computer for some reason so i still use MC SkinEdit alpha 3 pre 7 which came out in 2009! It's old-school and has some faults but i still find it nice to use. It's a problem for anyone using outdated skin editors. Thankfully, they're not very noticeable except for the bottom of the head. This newer layout makes far more sense but that means older skins will be backwards for those parts. The top edge would be the toes and the bottom would be the heel. It used to be that the top row and 3rd row faced the opposite direction that they do now. When Minecraft 1.0 came out, Mojang changed the skin layout for players.
